Women of Power, Prayer & Presence Fellowship was birthed out of what was to be a one on one teaching and mentoring session through the Bible in March 2010 for a mentee of Apostle LaForest Shelley Johnson. However, it quickly transitioned into a Tuesday Night Bible Study with three women in attendance on the first night. After faithfully leading Bible Study for three years in her home, the Spirit of the Lord impressed upon her during a Tuesday Night Bible Study session in March of 2013, that Tuesday Night Bible Study was to be a fellowship open to all women.

So, whether the women were members of a church or not, they could fellowship and partner with the women of WOPPPF, Inc. and do the work of ministry, while maintaining their membership at their local assemblies.

She was instructed by the Spirit of the Lord that the fellowship was to be called Women of Power, Prayer & Presence. He told her it was important that it be established as a fellowship because fellowship denotes, communion, spiritual unity, oneness, friendship, sisterhood and most of all, partnership. It is to represent a network of women that God infuses together to manifest His Kingdom in the earth, while working with the Spirit of the Lord to fulfill His will and demonstrate His power in the lives of the women and children He called us to transform.

Thus began the faith journey of establishing the fellowship, Women of Power, Prayer & Presence, also known as “WOPPPF, Inc.” The fellowship was established by the Spirit of the Lord, Apostle LaForest Shelley Johnson and the core group of women who faithfully attended Tuesday Night Bibles Study.

You have said, seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]. My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word].
